Lotte Rose I United We/I Stand etc. 23/1 – 2/3
Posted: January 20, 2014 Filed under: art, video Leave a commentThis Thursday Lotte Rose will be opening her first solo exhibition at the IMT Gallery in London. The exhibition involves wide range of video, installation and audio made in response to the productivity of some US hip hop acts:
“They are releasing several albums a month,” she says, “creating ripples, that later on became major waves in the heavy pop music industry. Likewise I wanted to produce a crowd of works with more concern for process than outcome. I am accumulating multiple self-portraits that become a crowd supporting each other, artificially enhancing the justification of their existence.”

Private view: Thursday 23rd January 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Exhibition: 24th January – 2nd March 2014
First Thursday late opening: Thursday 6th February 12:00 – 9:00pm
